Cube sheet inventory from your customer’s video

Every item your customer films is matched to an entry on your cube sheet, so the inventory arrives in cubic feet instead of as a list of names.

What a cube sheet is

A cube sheet is the list a moving company sizes a move with. Each common household item has an entry with a volume in cubic feet: a sofa, a queen bed, a dresser, a medium carton.

On an in-home survey the estimator walks each room, notes every item and how many there are, and adds up the volume. That total decides the truck and the crew.

Why a list of names is not enough

An inventory that reads “sofa, table, four chairs” still leaves the estimator to size every line. A loveseat and a sectional are both sofas, and they take very different space on a truck.

Until each item is matched to an entry on the cube sheet, there is no volume to plan with. A wrong guess can surface on move day as a truck that is too small or a bill that grows.

How MoveVision sizes a walkthrough

Your customer opens one link in their phone’s browser, with your company’s name and logo on it, and films one room at a time. MoveVision names and counts the items it finds and matches each one to an entry on your cube sheet, so the inventory comes out in cubic feet, room by room.

When the customer says the piano stays or the mirror needs care, that is recorded against those items. Each line opens the second of video where the item was seen, so checking a size means watching one moment instead of the whole clip.

Your estimator makes the call

The drafted inventory is a starting point. Your estimator reviews and corrects every line before quoting: a different size, an item the video missed, a piece the customer is keeping. The quote is built from the inventory they have checked, and that review is what a virtual moving estimate rests on.

Size your next survey without the drive

MoveVision is in an invitation-only beta for moving companies. Your company sets how long walkthrough video is kept, and no company sees another’s surveys. Joining the waitlist is free and creates no account.
